The rich complimentary tones of blue, from the cyan cast of the sky, against the deep brown of the cowboy's hat and his bronzed skin create a relaxed but striking image I placed the subject on an aluminum boat we found sitting at the water's edge. Sunlight reflecting off the boat and the water, as well as the overhead sun, brought enough light to record the image.
